We're under way at the Ulker Stadyumu.
Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the Europa League round-of-16 second leg clash between Fenerbahce and Sevilla at the Ulker Stadyumu.
Fenerbahce have work to do tonight to keep themselves in the competition after suffering a 2-0 defeat in the first leg. Jorge Jesus' men were outplayed in Seville and need to somehow overturn a two-goal deficit to get back to parity. The Turkish outfit have not been in action since due to their bye week so they should be well rested and ready to come out of the traps firing.
FENERBAHCE SUBS: William Arao, Mert Hakan Yandas, Diego Rossi, Joshua King, Irfan Can Kahveci, Joao Pedro, Bright Samuel, Miguel Silva, Osman Cetin, Irfan Can Egribayat, Emre Mor.
SEVILLA (3-4-3): Marko Dmitrovic; Loic Bade, Nemanja Gudelj, Alex Telles; Gonzalo Montiel, Fernando, Ivan Rakitic, Marcos Acuna; Oliver Torres, Rafa Mir, Youssef En-Nesyri.
SEVILLA SUBS: Suso, Joan Jordan, Yassine Bounou, Jesus Navas, Erik Lamela, Bryan Gil, Alberto Flores Lopez, Manuel Bueno Sebastian, Lucas Ocampos.
Sevilla are in command of the contest after securing a 2-0 win on home soil, but they should expect a response from the Turkish side. Joan Jordan's strike put them ahead on the night, but Erik Lamela's late effort might be the most important strike when he found the net with five minutes to play. It gives Jorge Sampaoli's side breathing room, although they are more than capable of producing a win on the road anyway. Sevilla followed up their win in Europe with a victory over Almeria last time to continue their resurgence in form.
Jorge Sampaoli would have been satisfied with the opening 38 minutes, but the penalty has changed the game completely. His side's margin for error has been reduced and he may consider changes to look for a goal in the second half to take the contest away from Fenerbahce as the Spanish outfit have done nothing themselves in the final third in the first half.
Thanks for joining our commentary today. Until next time, goodbye.
Sevilla are next in action against Getafe on the road in LaLiga on Sunday. Fenerbahce travel to take on Alanyaspor in Super Lig on Sunday in their next outing.
